To commemorate Chris joining the Kiesel family, the Custom Shop is offering a limited number of ‘Gold Digger’ Vader Multiscale Guitars in 6, 7 or 8-string variants for purchase. Kiesel Multiscale Guitars

Multiscale fanned-fret instruments have been around for quite some time, and the Kiesel Guitars Custom Shop performed extensive R & D in creating our multiscale guitars. The advantage of a multiscale fanned-fret instrument over a traditional instrument is that the lower baritone strings have a greater string tension thanks to the longer scale length found on that side of the fretboard, while allowing faster playing on the treble side, which has a more traditional scale. However, because of the different gauges of strings used in conjunction with the varying scale length, the lower strings will produce more defined sounds, and the entire instrument will produce more consistent tone. Kiesel Guitars offers a variety of multiscale fanned-fret guitars, in six-string, seven-string and eight-string neck-through, bolt-on neck and headless configurations. Standard passive Kiesel Lithium pickups, Hipshot™ solo saddles, and a huge assortment of body & neck woods, fingerboard woods, inlays, fretwire and other USA Custom Shop options allow you to create the instrument you want, versus the one the retailer has on the shelf, and thanks to our factory-direct pricing, you’ll pay less. Check out all of Kiesel Guitars’ multiscale instruments, and let us build your next masterpiece.

Kiesel Multiscale Fanned Fret Guitars

Aries Series multiscale guitars are bolt-on neck instruments, with a standard alder body and maple neck. The neck heel is sculpted for easy playing high on the fingerboard, and the neck is attached to the body with 4 bolts in ferrules versus a metal neck plate to reduce weight and further improve playability. Loaded with passive Kiesel Lithium humbuckers, the Aries multiscale guitars are available in 6, 7 and 8 string versions, as well as non-multiscale variants.

Vader Series headless multiscale guitars are ultra-compact, lightweight, and aggressively designed. At only about 31″ long, Vader guitars are ideal are travel guitars or for use on crowded stages or in crowded studios. Despite their small size, each neck-through Vader multiscale has a full-sized fingerboard, with similar dimensions are our other multiscale instruments. Like the Aries, Vader multiscale guitars are available in 6, 7 and 8 string versions, as well as non-multiscale versions, as well as standard and short-scale bass models.

The DCM Series are our newest multiscale instruments, and are based on the long-running DC guitars. These neck-through instruments have a standard alder body and maple neck, and are available with a full compliment of Kiesel Custom Shop options. The DCM Series are offered in 6, 7 and 8 string versions.

Kiesel 70th Anniversary K-Series multiscale guitars are our flagship instruments, and are available with many premium features and options not found on other Kiesel Custom Shop guitars. Because of the level of customization available on these models, K-Series guitars are only available by calling Kiesel Guitars at (858) GUITARS.

Kiesel 70th Anniversary Multiscale Guitars

All Kiesel Custom Shop guitars are made in the USA at our southern California facility, and are covered by a 5-year warranty and 10-day, no risk in-home trial period. Design and order your new Kiesel instrument today, and discover the best-kept secret in the music business!

New Multiscale DCM Series Guitars

Kiesel Guitars DCM Series Multiscale Guitars

With the success of Kiesel Guitars multiscale Aries, Vader and 70th Anniversary K-Series guitars, and in response to numerous customer requests, the Custom Shop is excited to debut the new DCM Series multiscale fanned-fret guitars. These instruments are based on the popular DC600, DC700 and DC800 neck-through guitars, with our acclaimed multiscale fingerboard. The DCM Series is built in the USA, and are instruments that you’ll be proud to play and own for years to come.

All three models feature an alder body and maple neck, with an ebony fingerboard and white pearl staggered offset dot inlays. The DCM6 and DCM7 have a standard 3 X 3 and 3 X 4 pointed headstock respectively (with reverse inline headstocks optional), and the DCM8 has a 4 X 4 pointed headstock. Fully-adjustable Hipshot™ solo saddles allow perfect intonation, and the strings-through-body design improves resonance and sustain.

Direct-mount Kiesel Lithium humbuckers and passive electronics are standard. These pickups are custom wound with vintage plain enamel wire that brings out the harmonically rich tone and sustain of the guitar. Standard controls consist of master volume control, master tone control, and a 5-way pickup selector.

Like all Kiesel Custom Shop guitars and basses, you can choose from a whole host of options, including body, neck and top woods, including 5-piece and our new 7-piece necks; solid, translucent and deep finishes; fingerboard woods; inlays and more.

Additionally, the Custom Shop has added a new beveled body edge option (code: BV) on DC Series guitars; the DC600, DC700, DC7X and DC800, as well as the new DCM Series guitars. The beveled body edges look the same as the body edges on the Vader Series headless guitars and 70th Anniversary K-Series guitars. New Color Shift Finishes & 7-Piece Necks

Kiesel Guitars Custom Shop Color Shift Finishes

The Kiesel Guitars Custom Shop has added some exciting new options you can add to your new guitar or bass.

First up, new color-shifting finishes. These cool finishes actually change color, depending on how light is hitting them, making them really stand out on stage. There are two finishes to choose from: Green to Gold Color Shift (code PSGG; shown at far left), which shifts from green to gold. The other is Blue to Purple Color Shift (PSBP; near left), which shifts from purple to blue. These finishes look especially good on beveled models, like out Aries and Vader Series guitars.

Additionally, we’ve added two 7-piece neck options that were previously only available on Kiesel Special Editions and 70th Anniversary K-Series Guitars. These are 7-Piece Maple-Walnut-Mahogany-Maple (7MWH), and 7-Piece Walnut-Purpleheart-Maple-Walnut (7WPM). Both of these new necks will enhance the looks of any instruments, and these in particular will really dress up your new guitar or bass.

Kiesel Guitars Custom Shop 7-Piece Necks

Whether your new guitar or bass is dressed up with our new finishes and necks, or you choose something more conservative, a Kiesel Guitars Custom Shop guitar or bass is the highest-quality, made in the USA instrument you can own. All Carvin and Kiesel instruments are made by our skilled craftsmen at our southern California facility from premium quality materials, with the highest possible tolerances and unsurpassed attention to detail.
